Mass Intentions

Request a Mass Intention

The custom of requesting a priest to offer the Mass for a specific intention, even when one cannot be physically present at the Mass, is a longstanding tradition in the Church. This is because the Church considers the Mass to be the greatest prayer of intercession, for it is the perfect offering of Christ to the Father, making present the paschal mystery of His death and resurrection.

You may request a Mass Intention by:

(1) Visiting us in-person at the Front Office

(2) Calling us at (305) 759-4531

(3) Emailing us at frontoffice@thecathedralofstmary.org

(4) Filling out the form titled “Submit Mass Intention Online Here” on this page

We invite you to please make a $10 donation with your mass intention request. Thank you!

At our daily Masses, we also pray in a special way for:

The strengthening of marriages and the healing of families

For all those who are going through an illness and for all those in the hospital

For an increased awareness and courage to defend the dignity of every human person, both born and unborn

For an increase of vocations to the priesthood; for our seminarians, our deacons, our priests, and our bishops

For an increase of vocations to the consecrated religious life
